HOW TO GENERATE FAST TRAFFIC TO YOUR WEBSITE

When it comes to generating traffic to your site, one of the best ways is through Search Engine Optimization (SEO). So much have been said about SEO and search engine requirement of what the right technique of optimizing your website is, but here are some of the tips I use on my website and they helped me a lot. SEO simply refers to optimizing your website so that it ranks higher on search engines. I will try and make this post very simply and interesting especially for newbies in SEO.

1.  DO SOME KEYWORDS REACH
Well, I don’t do this for every post, only when I want an article to rank high and generate traffic to my website. Keep in mind that you should be writing for people and not just Search engines. I mostly make use of two keyword tools to do some background check on the keywords I want to use.
• Google Adwords keyword tool
Google still hold a big chuck of web search done today, so where else to learn about keyword but from Google itself? This is my favorite and it’s free.
• Traffic Travis
Traffic Travis is also one of my favorite. Its desktop based software with great features that can help you research your keywords for free when used properly; you can start generating good traffic to your website from organic search. It’s pretty easy to use. The paid Pro version gives you even more. SEOpressor is also one of the best too.
2..  WRITE LENGTHY POSTS
Don’t just write some scanty articles with no value to your readers. Search engines Hate  it. I make sure that my posts are lengthy (about 600 words and above) and yet rich in content. I bet it makes Google very happy and Search Engine Rank Your Site Very Sharperly.

3. USE LONG TAIL KEYWORDS
Except you are pretty new, you would have realized that it’s hard to generate good traffic to your website with short keywords because they are very competitive. Short keywords are ‘one or two word’ words such as ‘traffic’,’ SEO’, ‘Smart Income Technology. If your website is about Insurance for instance, if you target the word “Insurance”, you might spend a donkey year hoping to get traffic except you are ready to invest heavily. If you use a long tail keyword like ‘cheap car insurance’, you have lower competitors. So that’s my second secret.

4.  CHOOSE  TOPIC CAREFULLY
Before posting, Make sure that you carefully choose a  topic carefully. One of my rules is that my KEYWORD must appear in my topic. This is because your topic is one of the first places in your website where search engines crawls, so if you are serious about generating traffic to your website, then you should consider a keyword rich topic.

5. I TAG MY IMAGES
Let me say this LOUD, images are a great way of getting traffic and getting your website noticed and getting cool organic traffic. A lot of persons search Google for images and if your image pops up, then you could get traffic to your website. Usually I rename my images to something related to my content and readable. Something like ipad.jpg rather than 123456.jpg

6. I WRITE RICH CONTENT
After all have been said and done, I always try to write original and unique contents. That’s the best way to retain visitors and generate plenty traffic from search engines to your website. Don’t be a ‘copycat blogger’. even though will copy from other website, do some Editing and Word Modification Before you Post it in Your site.Imagine that you copy a blog content, and such content also appear in about 100 other blogs and website on the WWW, the odds that your website will be in Google first page will be low.
